Ski Golf Challenge at the Dolomitengolf Resort

From March 28th to April 1st, 2024, THE LOGE was full of energy at the 12th Ski Golf Challenge at the Dolomitengolf Resort in Lienz/East Tyrol ๐ŸŽฟโ›ณ๏ธ. This special event combines skiing, golf, culinary delights, and networking in a way you won’t forget anytime soon.

Sports, fun, and the best vibes in East Tyrol

The event offered the perfect mix of athletic action, communal evenings, and plenty of good vibes ๐Ÿฅณ. For many THE LOGE members, it was already their second time participating. Everyone was particularly thrilled by the family atmosphere at the resort, the great organization, and the impressive backdrop of the Dolomites.

While the peaks were still covered in snow, the first golf swings could already be made down in the valley. This combination is exactly what makes the event so special: skiing in the morning, golfing afterward, and celebrating together in the evening.

The ski slopes in the Defereggental were still in excellent condition at this time of year. Additionally, the ski race was excellently prepared by the resort’s orga-team ๐Ÿ†. This allowed all participants to enjoy a sporty yet relaxed morning.

Ski Golf Challenge with fair scoring mode

After the ski race, an exciting two-person scramble over 9 holes awaited the participants. This part of the event also created many wonderful moments, competitive spirit, and plenty of talking points on the course.

Headpro Stefan Kรผhne explained the scoring mode in a particularly simple and fair way:

“For the scoring, we developed an easy-to-understand mode that offers all participants a chance at a good placement. The seconds from the ski run are deducted from the net or gross points scored at the golf tournament. The least remaining seconds win.”

This kept the competition exciting until the very end. At the same time, the focus wasn’t just on the result, but above all on the shared experience.

A real highlight for non-skiers too

Even those who didn’t want to participate in the ski race got their money’s worth. Instead of hitting the slopes in the morning, participants could already play 9 or 18 holes. Alternatively, the resort’s wellness area offered relaxing hours ๐Ÿง–โ€โ™€๏ธ.

Those who preferred a little excursion could also stroll through Lienz and enjoy the town ๐Ÿ›๏ธ. This made the weekend attractive not only for skiers and golfers, but also for companions.

Culinary delights, networking, and Dolomitengolf feeling

Another highlight was the resort’s excellent cuisine ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ. Whether breakfast, dinner, or a snack at hole 19: the weekend was perfectly rounded off from a culinary perspective.

Of course, networking was also part of the experience. In a relaxed atmosphere, many good conversations, new contacts, and shared memories were created. That’s exactly what THE LOGE stands for: golf, business, and personal encounters in a special setting.

THE LOGE will be back in 2025

THE LOGE will also be represented at this event at the Dolomitengolf Resort in 2025 ๐Ÿ˜Š. We’re already looking forward to athletic challenges, good vibes, and many familiar as well as new faces.

If you’ve now discovered ski and golf for yourself, you can also register for the Ski & Golf World Championship in Zell am See-Kaprun.
