Couples Tournament 2026 at FONTANA Golf Club
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, our THE LOGE partner club FONTANA in Oberwaltersdorf invites you to the Couples Tournament 2026. The focus is on an exciting team format in which two golfers compete together, make tactical decisions, and, as a pair, aim to achieve the best possible score.
Playing golf together – foursomes with selection
The Couples Tournament 2026 will be played as foursomes with selection. In this interesting format, two players form a team.
Both partners tee off on each hole and then decide together which ball will be played. After that, play continues alternately with that ball until it is holed.
So it’s not just individual golfing ability that matters. Good coordination, trust in your playing partner, and the right strategy also play a decisive role.
What makes it especially appealing is that different skill levels can complement each other perfectly. While one partner may shine off the tee, the other impresses with a precise short game.
The tournament will be played under stroke play rules and is not handicap-relevant.

- Eligibility: members and guests with a maximum HCPI of 54.0
- Tees: Men Yellow, Men 65+ Blue, Women Red
- Entry fee for members: €60
- Entry fee for guests: €200
- Entry deadline: Friday, September 18, 2026, 3:00 PM
The entry fee includes halfway refreshments, the shared dinner (excluding drinks), and the prize-giving ceremony.

The Couples Tournament is a lovely opportunity to experience golf from a slightly different perspective. Making decisions together, supporting each other, and celebrating success as a team is what gives this format its special quality.
