The 18-hole golf course of the GC Windischgarsten is located at the foot of prominent peaks and impresses guests with its exciting course design and challenging fairways. The golf course is designed to allow two 9-hole rounds to be played and returned to the clubhouse.
The aim of this layout was to create a visually stunning and fair course for golfers of all skill levels, and this goal has been achieved. On the first nine holes, golfers can enjoy the view over the Sengsengebirge mountains, while on the back nine, they play in a wide loop around the Edlbacher Moor.
The Windischgarsten golf course is also ideal for older golfers, as ten of the 18 holes are on flat terrain. The remaining eight holes stretch over slightly hilly terrain with gentle slopes, allowing for a relaxed round.
