The 18-hole golf course was artistically embedded into the natural landscape in 1969, according to the masterful plans of architect Donald Harradine. Harradine's motto was to prefer having a good Par 69 golf course rather than a bad Par 72. Therefore, sand hazards, natural trees, ground swells and depressions were set sparingly on the fairways.
