About the Golfcourse

The GC Wels, located in the Upper Austrian city of Wels, is one of the most traditional golf courses in Austria. The high-quality 18-hole championship course has been excellently maintained for 35 years and is not only a special highlight due to its tactical challenges, but also because of the beautiful panoramic view of the Traunstein mountain.

The unique athletic character of the course is underlined by the hilly terrain of the Welser Heide. The eight ponds have been perfectly integrated into the design, and together with the Wyerbach, which has to be crossed twice on an 18-hole round, they provide a special challenge. In addition, strategically placed bunkers increase the difficulty level of the golf course.
